Information on hold
Information on hold is one of the easiest ways for customer to learn about your company, your products and your services. Most businesses don’t offer information on hold. Instead callers placed on hold are forced to listen to the radio, or left in a blank void. Many phone systems now include generic messages with the system, but these aren’t as effective as providing relevant help even when callers are placed on hold.
You can increase sales
When you provide the right information, your customers and prospects can learn more about what you do, how you do it, and what makes you different from your competition.
Do your callers hear information that helps them…and you?
Marketing is the process of getting your prospect’s attention, educating them about how you can help them, and providing enough interesting information that they want to take a “next step” (like asking for a free guide, and free demonstration, coming into a showroom, or finding out more about your product). Consumers all have one thing in common: they want to make the right decisions. To do this they need information. What’s the easiest way to provide it? It could be a website page, a “white paper,” or just putting wasted hold time to use, by providing “helpful information” on every call.
