The Valcom Digital Autoload Messages on hold system was one of the first digital players for messages on hold. Built to last, we’ve seen New York City businesses with Valcom Digital Autoload systems still in use after over 15 years. The system, fully encased in a virtually indestructible case, is simple in design, and so seems to last forever.
Once loaded on your Valcom Digital Autoload player, your on hold messages can simply “keep going and going and going…” And since you probably don’t have much opportunity to call your own business and wait on “hold,” you’ll probably forget what your hold ads are talking about.
Checking your Valcom Digital Autoload Recordings
What’s the easiest way to find out what your telephone callers are listening to on hold? Here are 3 simple ideas
- Easiest: Take a look at the script for your recording. We keep an “archive” of scripts dating back over 20 years, so any time a client wants to check on the messages that are playing, they simply call us.
- A little less convenient: Call yourself and ask to be placed “on hold.” The Valcom Digital Autoload system should be playing continuously. When the recording ends, it will simply “loop” and start again.
- The last choice: There’s actually a speaker built into the player. You can switch on the speaker (the switch is on the left side of the player, under where you insert the cassette).
Listen to both the content (the ideas in the script) and the quality of the recording. Sometimes, after years of service, even the Valcom can lose quality.
Updating your Valcom Digital Autoload Messages
If your messages are typical, they’ve been playing for years. Are they still talking about new advances like “beepers,” (we just heard this on a recording last week!) “SMS,” or “the world wide web”? Old news can make you look dated. Customers aren’t looking for 20th Century technology: New York businesses can’t be bothered with suppliers that can’t keep up with progress.
